He has invented the optimum shadow casting telescope during his master degree in U.K. Dr. Mishra completed primary education overcoming great physical difficulties. But this motivated him to do service to the poor through free laparoscopic surgery camps and treating thousands of poor patients. He also trained hundreds of rural surgeons and gynecologists in laparoscopic and robotic surgery through scholarship programs. Apart from India, Dr. Mishra has also started laparoscopic training institute in many other countries of world.
